Cancer Survivor Graphic Tank Top
I always create my gifts based on my life experiences...and this Cute & Fun Graphic Tank Top is another example.
We all know going through cancer and chemo is hard...but what I ALSO discovered is how challenging the “growing out hair phase is” AFTER chemo. No one and no book seems to talk about THAT too much!
When you're bald, people know you're sick, had chemo or something is going on. They can “understand your look” of having no hair, wearing a scarf or the “not so cute hat”.
BUT... when you have a "not so attractive, matronly hairstyle that looks like a Monchichi doll from the 80's”...it can tend to make one paranoid that people may think you chose that hairstyle. I know, I know... I’m lucky to be alive and I know I know...we shouldn't care what others think about us “, but it’s human nature.
When I was going through this phase seven years ago, I always wore a necklace with a big pink ribbon so people would "get the hint" that I didn't choose this hairstyle.
I know women in this challenging phase now, and it inspired me to create this graphic tee. The goal is to have these comfortable shirts be “muted fun” and look cute, fashionable and not to "cancer-y".
- Cute to wear in its own or under a cardigan, jean jacket or sweat shirt.
- The fit is a relaxed & flowy blend of Polyester & Viscose
- Machine wash warm/tumble dry low. (We have enough stress these days than worrying about how to wash shirts and it can be worn often because it’s so easy)!
A perfect gift for a survivor to buy herself or as a gift to give “an extra boost of...confidence & humor” so people know “they didn’t choose that hairstyle, cancer did”!
I will be placing another bulk order in August 2023. (I want to order the size people want). So, if you’d like one, please check out like you normally would, know that it will take about a month and I’ll keep you updated.
NOTE AGAIN: Payment is taken at checkout. It should take about a month to ship, after I place order in August. 😃
